Forth District Salmon Fishery Board
The Forth District Salmon Fishery Board is the statutory fishery organisation responsible for enacting current fishery legislation in the Forth. The Trust works closely with the Board by delivering it’s monitoring and reporting responsibilities for fish populations. The Trust also supports the board in other areas such as responding to consultations and engaging with stakeholders.Â
Fisheries Management Scotland
Fisheries Management Scotland (FMS) represents Scotland’s network of District Salmon Fishery Boards, the River Tweed Commission and Rivers and Fisheries Trusts. The Trust is a member of FMS and we feed into national level discussions through Fisheries Management Scotland.Â
FMS maintain a regular dialog between Scottish Government, SEPA, SNH, Local Authorities and other organisations so that the rivers and fisheries agenda is represented at a National level.Â
Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park
Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park is one of 15 national parks across the UK. We work closely with staff at the park on a number of levels from receiving funding to deliver restoration projects, inputting to park wide plans which set challenges and goals for the park and partners to deliver and working with staff at the park to improve the Forth and Teith river catchments within the Park.Â
