Family River Resources – October Holiday Activities
October holidays are fast approaching and the Forth Rivers Trust has activities and resources available for all ages. Whether it is colouring in at home on a dreich day, or keeping a family diary of your local river, there are lots of ways to get involved and to know your local river.
Here are just a few of our free, fun activities:
Otter Detective Activity Book
Ages: 5+
Description: Learn to become a skilled otter spotter with this handy booklet.
Woodland Wonders Tree Search
Ages: 5+
Description: A search and find activity booklet to identify and learn more about some of Scotland’s native tree species.
Beastie Safari Activity Book
Ages: 5+

‘My Local River’ Family Diary
Ages: all
Description: Keep a record of things going on in your local river in a family diary. This includes the option to monitor and report on the cleanliness of the river with our Fresh Water Watch kit.
