Fish in the Class comes to a close for Muckhart Primary School

It’s always a busy time of year for Trust staff as we venture out to schools across the Forth to run our great project Fish in the Class. We were out with Muckhart Primary School bringing fish in the class to a close with them. We ventured out to their local burn to release their fish which they reared from eggs.

The children were fantastic throughout the project keeping the tank cold to help the trout survive. Well done guys. The fish were safely released to carry on their lives in the local river. As well as releasing the fish, we introduced the children to other river wildlife by carrying out an invertebrate sample to show them what the fish will eat.
