Forth Rivers Trust Response to Covid 19 (Coronavirus)
Most of our volunteering events are outdoors and we would like to continue these as long as we can. However, we need to make these events as safe as possible and that we work within the guidelines for management of the coronavirus. We have reviewed current Scottish Government guidance for businesses and have made some amendments to how we work which we want to share with you.
Volunteering
We have reviewed our volunteering activities for the next few months.
All indoor events will be postponed. Volunteers should not come to the office.
For all outdoor events we are asking  volunteers to abide by the following:
- Be vigilant with regards to the Coronavirus symptoms and not to attend events if you display any of the symptoms.
- Event group sizes will be reduced or restricted to max 5 persons in total.
- Hand washing/anti-bacterial hand gel will be available to all on our volunteering activities.Â
- No groups identified a vulnerable by UK or Scottish Governments (currently over 70s, have underlying issue, or are pregnant) should attend.
All staff have been asked to follow the same guidance and will remain vigilant going forward.
Obviously, should the government advice change  this may affect our volunteering opportunities going forward. We will always contact volunteers who are planning to come out with us as soon as we are aware.
Keep an eye out on our social media channels we will try and keep you updated on how works proceed.
Should you have any questions please email trust@forthriverstrust.org.
