Rivers aren’t the only thing running in the Forth… in September, some of the FRT staff will be competing in the almighty Ochils Ultra, a 50-mile run from Perth to Stirling.
September 28th marks the big day some of our staff team will take on the epic relay race running from Perth to Stirling over the hills, fundraising in support of the Trust’s river restoration efforts!
Our running team, calling themselves the ‘Stream Team’ or ‘River Renegades’Â have been hard at work training and are completing this (outrageous) undertaking to fundraise for the Trust in support of our work around the catchment.
We’re asking if you can SHOW YOUR SUPPORT by donating on our GoFundMe page!
With a target of £1,500 set, any and every donation is appreciated and will be sure to give our team a boost.
Your support will also help us continue our protection and restoration of rivers around the Forth.
We’ll be sharing more about the work your donations help with in coming weeks – and thank you so much to all who have donated so far.
If you’re unable to donate then please SHARE THIS POST to spread the word!!
Just over
5 weeks
to go now, and the training kilometres are stacking up for the team…
