As part of Callander’s Landscape, the Trust will be running a weekend activity session for young people interested in learning how to fish. The activity sessions will take place on the 23rd & 24th February and will involve learning about what’s in your local river, bank side safety, equipment and tackle setup and river awareness so you have the ability to identify a good fishing spot.
Participants will then get to put their newly acquired skills to use with a days fishing.
This activity is open to anyone aged 16 – 26 who has not fished before but would like to learn. Please see the poster for more details. Spaces are limited so please email trust@forthriverstrust.org for a booking form.
This project is supported by Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park , National Lottery Heritage Fund Scotland and the Forth District Salmon Fishery Board.
