The precast units of the fish pass, that is being constructed at Kirkton weir, were put in place on Saturday. Â After a pool was built at the downstream end of the pass and the section cut out of the weir, the units were placed on a level screed.

Today, the joins between the units were being sealed before they are bedded in with concrete.
