Recruitment – Field Assistant
🌊 **Join Our Team at Forth Rivers Trust!** 🌊
Due to a number of projects on the go at the moment, we have the opportunity for someone to join the team and support our monitoring, project delivery, and consultancy work across the Forth to protect and enhance our local rivers this summer.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Field Assistant to help us deliver our conservation monitoring programs, fish rescues, and environmental surveys. This is a temporary fixed-term role until the end of October 2024, perfect for a student or someone looking to gain practical experience in the field.
🔹 Role: Field Assistant (Fixed Term)
🔹 Location: Forth Region, Scotland
🔹 Salary: £24,960 per annum pro rata
🔹 Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in conservation monitoring activities.
– Conduct fish rescues and relocate aquatic species.
– Participate in environmental surveys and habitat assessments.
– Collect, analyze, and report ecological data.
– Collaborate with a team of ecologists, volunteers, and partners.
