Teith Catchment Project – Call for Volunteers

Thanks to NatureScots Biodiversity challenge fund and match funding from the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park have been continuing restoration work on the river Larig which because it is at the top of the Teith catchment is one of the most critical areas for restoration. Along with green bank protection the Forth Rivers trust has been planting thousands of trees along the river banks to provide habitat and to strengthen banks with tree roots.

The work that is being carried out is labour intensive and requires many man hours to complete. We have had many volunteers involved in this project and hope to see more of you join us in this stunning area in the future. Volunteering with the trust provides a great chance to explore rivers and wildlife, gain some new knowledge and skills and talk to some likeminded people.
