It’s #Unblocktober this month so we are raising awareness of the impacts to the environment from the wrong things being put down the drains and into the sewage network.
Wet wipes, sanitary products, condoms and other non-flushable items cause blockages in the sewage network which could then spill into your local river.
Our RiverLife team and RiverRubbish volunteers have seen firsthand the impacts of flushing non-flushable items down sinks, drains or loos.
